A great device! Dial in the exact voltage you need ! Adjusts voltage down to what you need for your electronic devices requirements. LEDs (current limiting resistors or led driver are still recommended for leds) 3 amps peak 2 amps working power, enough for 300 LEDs . A diode is included, we can solder the diode to the board along with 6" of wire on the input and also the output. The adjustable regulator is perfect for controlling the voltage for led lighting or repurpose a higher voltage laptop or wallwart power supply. Make different voltage supplies off one power source to power say an Arduino with 3.3 volts and another for 5 volts. Shown in the photos is a oddball battery getting charged. 4.2 volts, no problem! Great source for bench testing battery powered devices. The unit has short and heat protection. Size 43mm/1.7" L x 20mm/.79" W x 14mm/.55" H .
