VERY RARE Antique Porcelain Business Advertising Sign, c.1900, for DR. CHAS. B. BARKLEY, BACTERIOLOGICAL APPARATUS
DESCRIPTION:
Original LARGE PORCELAIN business sign for a Medical Bacteriological Apparatus Business Office. Beautiful condition, and only damage is a little chipping around several of the holes that were used to mount it. May not have been taken down carefully.
Nice looking, with classic bright blue background with white margins and lettering. VERY NICE WITH DOCTOR"S NAME AND ODD PRODUCT. One can only image what bacteriological apparatus was in the year 1900!!! Quack medicine??
ALSO VERY NICE IN THAT IT HAS THE MAKER'S NAME PRINTED ON THE BOTTOM, "Baltimore Enl. & Novelty Co,, Maryland".
UNUSUAL, ORIGINAL, OLD, MEDICAL ADVERTISING ITEM, MANUFACTURER MARKED!!!!  I have never seen anything like it.
